Six shots, one target, as fast as you can keep them in the A-zone.
What this proves: Your grip holds all six shots in the A-zone, not just the first two.
Scored by: Time, all six A · Log it in Range Log
Setup
3 to 25 yards (T.REX runs it across that range; 7 is the classic). USPSA-style target. 6 rounds.
How to run it
- Start holstered or at the ready.
- On the beep, six shots to the A-zone.
- Log time. Add zone hits if you want a hit factor.
The standard
Clean-run rule: Six in the A-zone or it isn’t a time. 7 yards, from the holster, hands at your sides.
| Badge | Time, all six A |
|---|---|
| Squared Away | 2.00 or under |
| Dependable | 2.50 or under |
| Work in Progress | 3.00 or under |
| Dry-Fire Tonight | 3.50 or under |
From concealment, add 0.25 to each line. At other distances, log the time and the hits so you can watch them climb.

What it trains
Recoil control and grip. If the last four shots leave the A-zone, the grip is the answer.
